Seems a bit of a catch-22, if you are still employed, you're working double-time to fill space of vanished colleague. If not, will the small advances today cover the work's costs? Seems like a recipe for writing celebrity bios and not much more. Still, I guess I'd rather read a good celeb bio than a bad politics thumbsucker, of course.
